Accounts & Access
How many users can I invite?
Aleva does not limit the number of users. You can invite as many collaborators as you need at no extra cost.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
On the login page, click Forgot password and follow the email instructions.
How do I change a member's role?
In project settings, under Members, click the current role and select the new one.
Files & Storage
What is the maximum IFC file size?
Aleva supports IFC files up to several hundred MB. Files over 450 MB have been successfully tested.
How long does IFC conversion take?
Typically between 10 seconds and 2 minutes depending on model size and complexity.
Can I recover a deleted file?
File deletion is permanent. Verify before deleting. Previous versions are preserved in the version history.
BCF & Collaboration
Is Aleva's BCF format compatible with Archicad?
Yes. Aleva exports standard BCF 2.1, directly importable in Archicad (File → BCF → Import), Revit, Solibri and BIMcollab.
Can I import BCF files from other tools?
Yes. Drag and drop your .bcfzip file into the project's BCF module to import topics.
Technical
Does the viewer work on mobile?
Aleva is optimized for desktop. Basic browsing works on mobile, but the 3D viewer is recommended on a computer.
Is my data backed up?
Yes. The database is automatically backed up daily. Files are stored on OVH S3 with redundancy.
